It seems the infinite bag weight crashes the game randomly. Not sure what triggers the event or if it is in combination with gold never lowers while diving.
Also the items increase on consumption doesn't appear to be working or it isn't clear which portion of the game this affects (sushi, weapon crafting, etc.).

Try the trainer posted by me, it may still work.
It does seem to be mostly working. Only Free Craft was failing so far from testing. I will test diving cheats later as well.
I'll look at updating it asap
