I tried on Rockstar and it didn't work then I tried on epic games and it didn't work either the stamina doesn't work and custom stars doesn't work and infinite money It hasn't been updated since 2019 so maybe it needs a update

if i add grand theft auto as a non steam game will it work?

Adding games to Steam as a non-Steam game does not change the game files whatsoever. Steam just gives you the ability to open the game from the UI.
