Can't get some of the cheats to activate, read the little info box and did what it says...Is there a certain point in the game you need to be at to turn on certain cheats?
Steam version or Windows Store?

Is it? Then why do half the cheats work on windows version?
The trainer was designed for the STEAM version but if it works for the Windows Store version then that is purely coincidental. The two versions are not entirely coded the same & therefore not all options would activate despite the executable name being the same.
