when I run the game on gamepass it says the game is running and trainer activated even before the trainer is activated and I can't toggle none of the options on

Very strange, usually Game Pass versions use a different executable e.g. "Trials of Mana-WinGDK-Shipping.exe", which could be why it is not activating and some visual bug saying "game found".
